Sassicaia DOC from Tenuta San Guido (1991) is undoubtedly one of the most famous wines in the world. It comes from a 75-hectare vineyard with very different characteristics: some particles have a strong stony connotation (hence the name “Sassicaia” probably), with some limestone formations. The fermentation of this wine takes place at a controlled temperature in steel and the skins are macerated for at least 10 days.

The aging of the Sassicaia DOC of Tenuta San Guido takes place only in French oak barriques for 24 months, at at the end of which it is bottled to bring to our tables a final product that has made us famous all over the world.
